Junko Cho has a small hole in her neck with a device over it to keep it open. She got it when she was younger and went through the torture the scientists put her through. Now the doctors who take care of her use the same whole to inject her with good drugs. But when in public, she hides the small hole with a golden necklace. She hates to be questioned about the identifying mark, it bringing back bad memories.
She wears the clothes the doctors give her, more girlish attire. Although she is attached to the first dress she was given, a yellow, pink, and white one. She is fine with wearing anything she is given by her caretakers and doesn’t put up a fight about it. Clothes are the last thing on her mind. She also has two different types of hair clips, reaching all the way around the back of her head.
Because of what she was put through, her wings are different from other demons. They are wings of a butterflies and not black feathers. They also can come out of her back and go back in, when she wants it. Other than that, they help her to fly like any other creatures and can grow in size.

Personality:
A majority of her personality is one you’d find common for a demon. She is rebellious, not taking well to the teachers of the academy, contrary to her name. She isn’t one to prank other students, but rather talk back. She uses her wit and doesn’t hold back. So many think of her as either brutally honest or blunt. She can be anti-social at times, lurking the hallways when she isn’t up to staying in class. This trait might have been a result of being held captive with only two other beings for so long. And her detest of angels and other similar “light creatures” is known to anyone who talks to her for longer than an hour. So she tends to stay in the shadows of the academy and is known for staying up late in the night.
She also suffers from horrible headaches, causing her to hear voices in her head and hallucinate. She sometimes sees the face of the angel she had killed. The horror causing her so much internal stress that she gets nosebleeds. Her emotional state just worsens at times like this. Her lust for killing increases as her mental state decreases. But the doctors who care for her now know a dose of their special drugs can bring her down to a calmer state. But one believes the constant treatments may not be so good for her. But they have no other choice.
And that brings up her home life. At the treatment center with the people she knows, Junko Cho is a very different person. She is talkative, always describing her day to others. She is more at ease and is in fact bubbly. She jokes around quite often and laughs. She is kind and obedient to the doctors who look over her and treat her. She shows a loving side when taking care of the humongous demon that once was inside her and when interacting with her two companions.
The connection she has with the crow demon is a strange one. The doctors had never seen a case where a demon in its human form could fuse into an animal demon form. But she doesn’t do it often, only when in the mood to kill. She is an average student, getting passing grades. She is not one for sports, her petite frame not made for physical exertion. And with her height, she can be clumsy at times. She truly hates angels but is trying to move on since her doctors want her to. But they too know it will take a long time for the three to recover.
History:
A demon child born from a mother and a father. To be more specific, a crow demon. Not one of the more feared type of creatures from the underworld but still regarded as dangerous. The human world sometimes sees them as signs of bad luck, such as a black cat crossing your path. Scavengers by nature and low key. A menacing call that can scare even the most un-superstitious person. Just a few things that can describe the crow demons in their animal forms.
The baby was born on a stormy night. Not a significant birth in the large clan, but important in a few pairs of unfamiliar eyes. In fact, a few of the babies born that week were being watched by others not of their kind. The small girl was one of the many, although known in the clan knew it. No, it seemed they were not cleaver enough to notice the entities that lurked around the multitude of caves and burning shrubbery for the past week.
It was when they had all let their guards down and slept. The outsiders crept softly and swiftly into the nesting grounds, quickly snatching the choice babes from their beds. They left the area of Hell with the young ones and headed up, toward Heaven. The act went unnoticed to the other demons, finally seeing the new members of their clan were gone when morning came. The searched as far as they could, but to no avail. It seemed the children were no longer in the pits of Hell they had claimed for themselves. They were devastated to say the least.
The kidnappers were angels. To be exact, a corrupt organization of angels. This group had formed with the same idea in mind. They hoped to find a scientific way to alter the genes of demons and turn them into full fledged angels. So they knew they needed subjects to test upon. And in their eyes, crow demons seemed very insignificant. Taking just a few newborns wouldn’t seem too inconspicuous the demon world. So that’s what they did this night. The small, fragile children not knowing what torture they were to face.
The small, scientific organization started with baby steps, trying to alter the appearance of the demon babies. What once was black hair and other darker colors, became lighter. Our main character’s hair turning a pink color. It seemed their experiments were progressing nicely. The organization was surprised themselves at the success they had with hair color and changing the gene completely. Next was eye color for the infants. Their aim was for more appealing colors again. Her red eyes soon became a violet color. But she still had the faintest bit of red circling her iris. Although frustrated, the angels decided to not continue the experiments to change her eye color completely.
The next processes would take a few years or so to fulfill. Now toddlers, the angels tried their luck with changing the personality traits of the children to more wholesome beings. It worked on the children. But some, like our main character, seemed to still express characteristics of a demon. However, they kept the fact hidden from the scientists, afraid of more of the painful treatment. The children, five to be exact, were forced to live together in the laboratory like caged animals. They were beaten if they misbehaved and given small portions to eat. Their lives meant nothing to the angels. But each kept each other safe, the girl beginning to express hatred for her captors.
Their physical appearances were that of eight year old children when the next process was to occur. The scientists were now going to try and extract the demon aspect of them. They had purposely taken children who were born in human similar forms, knowing if they tried to take the demon out of one that was an actual crow, it would surely die. So they needed a way to access the children’s genes easily without operating on them each time. It was then that the small injection holes were drilled into the necks of the children. Those who were waiting for their time could hear the agonizing screams of their companions. All knew they couldn’t escape the fate.
So the holes were created, kept open with a small device placed over it. They soon came accustom to the things, though they truly hated them. It was then time to try and extract the demonic auras from the children. Over the next few years they were injected with different assortments of chemicals and other drugs to alter the chemical make-ups of the children. The stuff was too much for two of the children. They passed away after many years of treatment. The other three slumped into a depression, not even putting up a fight for the doctors.
There physical appearances were now twelve year old when it happened. The pink haired girl seemed to have reacted to the drugs earlier than the doctors had perceived. She was doubled over in pain, clutching her stomach as she continuously coughed and heaved. The other two tried to help her but were yelled at by the two doctors observing. At first they had figured she was going to die like the two so they simply waited for it to happen so they could dispose of her body. But they hadn’t expected what was next to occur.
She continued to cough, harder now as blood shot from her mouth. She gagged as something made its way up her throat. Her mouth opened wide as the lump came out of her mouth. The doctors were disgusted and opened the room to take the thing away for experimentation. The young girl seemed to recover quickly from the accident; not knowing what it was that she had threw up. But she knew she felt different in a way.
The doctors returned to days later with grins on their faces. It seemed what she had thrown up was the essence of her demonic nature. It came in the form of a small baby bird, a baby crow. They of course showed the thing to her to mock the children and bask in the fact that their experiments were working. They didn’t give the baby bird to the girl, deciding to conduct experiments on it as well. The pink haired girl was devastated at the fact that she had come one step closer being like the people who had treated her so horribly since she was small. She even tried to kill herself a few times, but was stopped by the other two with her. She was saddened at the fact that they could not relate to her any longer since she was no longer one of them in her mind. But they assured her that wasn’t the case.
But what doctors also didn’t expect was that instead of the white wings they had hoped the pink haired girl would get instead of black wings, she sprouted wings similar to that of a butterfly. So the torture went one more years. Until that one fateful day the children could see the darkness of hell they could only imagine about. A group of demons had gone on a rampage and traveled to heaven with the yearn for killing. And with angels being their mortal enemies, it seemed only right for them to kill those creatures. It was when they had come upon the laboratory that things changed. The brigade killed the doctors and scientists who inhabited the building. They then came upon the three children. Before they killed them, they noticed the state they were in and that they were in fact demons. The brigade took the children, too weak to move any farther than what their cell had allowed them. The little girl remembered the bird that rightfully belonged to her. She asked one of the demons to take her to search the place and did find the small bird. It too had under gone horrible treatment but was still alive.
So the three were finally free, taken back to their home of hell. The brigade took them to a treatment center they had known of. The three were reluctant to return to a laboratory but knew it was the only place they could go at this point. The doctors there had never seen anything like what the children had taken. They had to come up with their own drugs to try to repair the children. The treatment center soon became the new home for the three as the doctors tried to return them to their former selves. The crow was also kept but it seemed nothing could be down to help it.
But the treatment had side effects on the children, now looking to be teenagers. They all suffered mentally from the experiences they went through. The pink haired girl seemed to be the worst. She had a negative mood most of the time, having to take chemicals to calm her mood. She also suffers from painful headaches, nose bleeds, and emotional instability. Taking drugs can also help her with this. The doctors deducted she was like this since the crow was taken from her. But they still continue to treat them to try to make them as much demon as they can. Which they did succeed in doing. The demonic genes within the children were corrected but the physical aspects would not be corrected. The girl’s wings also stayed as a butterfly’s wings. The doctors named her Junko since she was obedient and Cho since she had wings of a butterfly. She was given no last name. And she was left with the crow still separate from her. But since she didn’t need it inside her to be a demon, she took care of it was if it was a pet, even when it grew ten times the size of her. But the three still continue to suffer and need treatment. They also were taken in by the treatment center permanently.
It became known that Junko Cho needed more than just chemicals to help her when she killed an angel herself. Her hatred toward the race was so strong. She had learned that she could become a part of the huge deformed crow, like it was once a part of her, and fight. She had learned this talent and killed an angel as a result. The doctors knew it would be hard to teach all of them that killing was not the right thing to do. This center believed in peace between all creatures. So when the academy was created, they saw it as a perfect opportunity. And it helped the classes were separate so the girl especially wouldn’t come in contact with angels a lot. So, the three were sent for their sophomore year.
