Well, the sky was blue, everything seemed to be perfect on this clear blue morning, though nothing ever seemed to be quite settled. There were many people who had classes to attend and were skipping around the campus. Though not everyone was supposed to be out at these hours, for example, members of the night class. What destruction some of them seemed to cause or chaos even when they were out during the morning hours.
Though some seemed to not be into such things. They were more subtle about those types of things. They were the ones who might have been seen as different, though very few could come across someone like that. That was how it seemed to be for the most part. Nothing was ever to quiet here in this school, and you could usually tell when there was trouble.
Ryo Cross seemed to be one of the causes with problems in the Day Class. He of course stood tall, thin, pale complected, and with gorgeous blonde hair that could catch anyones attention, which wasn't always a good thing for him, but he seemed to live with it. He was always lurking around just popping into random situations, and sometimes even teasing others, and flirting also. What was he here to do today? Well, he didn’t quite know, but everyone seemed to know him as a member of the Night Class, and what he was doing now, no one could know exactly, but they knew he was up to trouble of the sort. Of course he was wearing the Night Class uniform, but he didn’t care what others said to him.
Nothing seemed to quite bother him too much. Why? That was a question many had asked. It was just a habit maybe that he seemed to do a lot. Wandering was something he seemed to do best, though sometimes he was known to help others. He was more of a kind soul, though he did have a heck of a history and a tough lineage to live up to. Sometimes though he just didn’t want to acknowledge his past. He thought it was better for the most part. It was a lot simpler as well for him to just ignore it, though it always seemed to haunt him, and others looked down upon him as evil. Yes, he was a demon of darkness, and of course he seemed to try to not look the part, though others judged him from his lineage that he would be just like his parents and family before that. He couldn’t help it if he was different for the most part or just wanted to be different, he was just trying to find a way to fit in whether if it was following his own path, or the path his family expected him to follow.
Well, now he seemed to wander the campus, taking in the bright sun. He didn’t mind it one bit at all, actually it was quite nice, though he’d think his family would differ for the most part. He couldn’t blame them for they were also of “darkness” though he never quite understood why he wasn’t as effected by the light as he was. He was different, so he had to live with it, even if he was the “freak” of the Cross family. It was just something that he had to deal with. He now sat in the grass up against the wall as he let a sigh escape his lips. What trouble would he get into now, well maybe for being caught out during the day when the Day Class was supposed to be having classes, but as he always thought, he didn’t give one damn about what others had to say. Like every single day since he had came here, he always came over in the morning and just seemed to sit there and think. It was a good thing for him, though he did seem to lose a lot of sleep since he had Night Classes, though he didn’t care anymore. He sighed. Would anyone say anything, would anyone dare to approach him, a member of the Night Class, he couldn’t tell, though he wished someone would talk to him and maybe even acknowledge his presence. He sighed. “Well, all seems quiet and well for now,” he stated cooly staring at the fluffy cumulus clouds that floated lazily in the sky. All was well, but soon, something would happen, of course that was just Ryo’s calm prediction, though it was obvious something would happen with a member of the Night Class here. So there against the wall he seemed to wait calmly, his face perfect and a bright glint in his colorful blue gaze.

Hey you there [x7] I see you ova there I see you everywhere Come and sit right here------------------------- "Here you go little cutie." Ayume whispered as she flew up high up into the tree, sitting on the branch as she set down a small little pure white baby dove down back into it's nest with it's mother and siblings. The birds chirped happily, as if thanking the blonde angel who was smiling down at them. "Your welcome darlings!" Ayume whispered cheerfully to the little birds as she flapped her own pure white wings, just like the color of the doves, and flew out of the tree. As she was now out of the tree, she landed on the ground gracefully. She looked back at the tree and smiled slightly. Walking away from it and the family of birds.
It was day class time. Break to be exact. And As Ayume walked out of her classroom, she was about to walk under a tree and take a small nap when she saw the little baby dove on the ground crying for it's mother who was way up high in the tree. Ayume saved it. Such an angel.
She stretched her arms yawning. ' This day has been so boring so far ' Ayume thought bored as she walked around the campus aimlessly waiting for the next class to start. Ayume didn't feel like taking a nap anymore. When she saw that poor little bird on the ground, she knew that she couldn't sleep. What if there were other cute birdies on the ground?! Just begging Ayume to help them.
How sad that would be. ):
So now, Ayume was walking around aimlessly around the campus. Looking for cute little birdies that are in need of help.
' When i get home, i want to take a nice hot bath. Just to relax.' Ayume thought smiling.
But then the smile disappeared. She knew that she couldn't relax. She had perfect duties to do. Oh well, this was the job of a future guardian angel anyways. It was worth it to protect others.
Suddenly.. She saw a devious handsome man sitting up against the wall. He was blonde, pale , and had a really nice face. Ayume smiled at him with her eyes closed, and continue to walk on.
' Wait a minute.. ' Ayume thought as she took a step backwards. ' Why is he wearing a night time uniform? '
"Hey! You there! " Ayume called over as she took out her staff that appeared in a bright light. She spread her wings and that helped her run faster by picking up wind. She was in front of him in a blink of an eye.
"Sumimasen. (Excuse me) What are you doing out here night student. " Ayume asked politely as possible while she cast a light spell on him, trapping him into cuffs that were made out of lights on his hands and feet so he was unable to run.
"You know that now i have to call the Mistress and tell her about this sir? " Ayume told him. ' Busted..' Ayume thought grinning silently to herself.
He kind of looked familiar to Ayume. But she wasn't sure. Why was he out here anyway? Did he always come out here? All students know that it is a very strict rule for night students to come out into the area of a day student during their study time. Consequences were harsh. Word Count :624

Of course the sun seemed to be a bit nice. He liked it, it was warming and seemed to be caressing his face slightly which was quite enjoyable for him for the current moment. He didn’t seem to care about anything. He noticed some problems, but decided not to deal with them it was just too much for him to think about. He already had enough to think about with his mind on family issues and everything else of the sort. He seemed to take pity though on the inhabitants of the earth now who seemed to be very upset now about the bad things that seemed to take place, but like his motto was, “Good cannot exist without evil.”
It was as simple as that and true as well. There was no way that one could exist without the other, and with that he seemed to smile slightly. It was interesting to let your mind ponder those thoughts. He always seemed to wonder what it would be like with just one side. Good or evil. Either way it would result in chaos. People just didn’t get along together, and it was something that he knew very well to be true.
He let his eyes close briefly as he noticed a small rabbit just sitting there. He rolled his eyes slightly. It wasn’t moving well, and of course was weaker than he was. He seemed to just stare at it as he seemed to debate with himself. He knelt down now to pick up the rabbit, and held it in his arms, blinking slightly as he saw the weak creature moving barely and its breathing slow. He actually felt a little bad for it so he decided to heal it, hoping that no one would quite see what he was doing. It was embarrassing to be seen doing such kind things since his lineage was known to do such bad things, but then again he wished to do good things as well. He frowned slightly when he noticed someone was nearer than he would have liked and it instantly told him prefect alert.
He turned slightly as he let his hand come across the sword on his neck which was disguised as a necklace, of course no one seemed to know of it. He smirked slightly. It wasn’t too hard to get past the prefects since he could easily manipulate their thoughts, but in truth he thought it was a bit mean in a way, but it was definitely something that he had to do now. He sighed slightly, letting his cool gaze rest on Ayume, the prefect before him. He sighed. “Well, well, well, as I thought,” he said, noticing the spell cast on him. He had of course in one hand the rabbit that he had healed and in the other the necklace that was around his neck for right now. He sighed slightly letting his eyes close for a brief moment.
“Nice day, isn’t it prefect Ayume,” he breathed slightly in his cool and gentle voice. He smiled gently at her. “I’m merely out here as to enjoy the sun,” he murmured slightly. “Is that a crime, when all that is asked for is that we get along?” he shrugged for a brief moment, letting his gaze rest on her casually. “I don’t see any harm in that.” He looked down at the rabbit, “Luckily I was here to save this creature as to it was dying I believe,” he murmured slightly, pretty sure that Ayume had seen the kind act that he had indeed preformed on the small creature.
He stared at Ayume casually. If he really felt like it he could most likely break her bonds on him, but he was feeling quite lazy at the current moment. He decided to just merely stare at her briefly as he smiled handsomely. “Tell the mistress, though I don’t see the harm in me coming out here like I normally do. I don’t cause trouble, now do I?” he asked her raising an eyebrow in curiosity. “I really think it’s best that you don’t think of me as trouble,” he said a little more softly now using a bit of magic of his own to manipulate her decision in telling the headmistress of his own appearance during the Day Class’ time.

Hey you there [x7] I see you ova there I see you everywhere Come and sit right here------------------------- There was a reason, why the Mistress made Ayume a perfect to protect the school. It wasn't just because she was her 'daughter.' It was because out of the whole school, Ayume and Ran Fuji along with the two other perfects were one of the strongest out of the school. Ayume doesn't like to tell anyone about it. But truth was, she was very strong. Ayume couldn't help but roll her eyes. Rude as it was, she couldn't help it. Why bother lying to an angel? Didn't he know angels could always tell the difference between good and evil. She could always tell when someone was lying.. Did he not know that?
Ayume smiled. She knew that no matter how hard that this guy tried. He won't be able to break the cuffs. She had a feeling that he wouldn't run away though. So she cancelled the spell and saw a small dying rabbit in his hands. Ayume then felt a feeling in her gut that made her so angry. She hated the night class. Most of them anyways. They always did things like these. If Ayume didn't know any better, she would probably assume that this guy did hurt the rabbit itself. She wanted to just slap him.
And thats another thing. His personality secretly sickens her. Acting all cool and mischievous, trying to be a smart mouth with a perfect. He wasn't fooling anyone. " You could be out to enjoy the sun. But we all know dark demons like you don't like the sun very much. And all students know better than to come to the day time class territory during class hours. " Ayume stated as she gripped the staff tighter, placing it behind her. She was still holding onto the staff, with both hands.
' Be nice Ayume. Act like an angel. ' Ayume told herself. Wait a second, Isn't this guy name Ryo Cross. Suddenly Ayume knew him right away from what Ran Fuji had told her. This guys is always, always sneaking off and hanging around the day time class during school hours. His a mischief guy that Ran has caught him plenty of times already. And yet, he still doesn't learn his lesson. What a childish kid.
"Just go back to your dorms like you are suppose to Ryo Cross. Ayume sighed. Why couldn't the night class just make things more easier for the perfects? Did they not understand that Ayume barely gets any sleep because of them? That she stresses out everyday because of them? Or perhaps they just simply don't give a damn.
With school work, projects, perfect duties, Ayume schedule is always busy. She rarely has anytime for herself. She had to keep up her standards to be the top student. As everyone knows her, she is the princess of Petalite Academy. Miss. Perfect.
Maybe having a staff as a weapon wasn't as intimidating. Ran's gun was way more intimidating than her simple staff. But her staff was really powerful and allowed her to easily use magic. People don't get it that magic could be very dangerous at times!
But Ayume did see Ryo cure the rabbit. And she could tell that he was trying to let that be a secret. She knew that all night class didn't have a pure black heart. They did have some good in them. Some. Not a lot, but some.
"You could have let me handle the small creature.. Then you wouldn't have to feel embarrass for helping it out."
Ayume smiled as she bent down to Ryo's level and slowly lifted her right hand out. She begin to pet the small creature. The boss really did make some beautiful creatures for all his children to enjoy. Some people abuse that gift though, and it hurt Ayume inside.
"And here i thought all night classes were just heartless jerks." Ayume giggled jokingly as she kissed the rabbit on it's head. She looked back at Ryo Cross.
"So. Are you going to be a good boy and go back to your dorm?" Ayume asked politely, as if a mother would speak to her child. Word Count: 767

He always seemed to have some type of trouble in his life whether or not if it was his family nagging at him to do as they told him, or whether he was in school outside in the day light hours just standing there doing nothing. He seemed to be the “trouble” that everyone was looking for to scold. He wished though that others wouldn’t treat him like a child. He wished that they would be actually try to see him for the new person he was trying to build up and not just the character that his parents wanted everyone else to see.
He sighed slightly; everything was always his fault nowadays wasn’t it? Well, he of course seemed to get that thought, out of his mind no matter how hard he tried. He shook his head slightly as he looked at his surroundings. Oh how he loved the sun and the way the sky was lit up in the morning hours. Oh how he longed to fly in those skies and be free for once in his life. Oh how he longed to feel the wind whip through his hair in the morning skies. Instead he was stuck in darkness, just as his parents seemed to want. He was walking along a thin thread, a lone that he wasn’t allowed to fall from at all costs. He had to appear perfect to them, though he was quite the opposite when he was away from them.
In reality he wanted to be a bit nicer and actually get along with the other students, though he found that a bit difficult to understand in a way. He let himself sigh. He would let himself suffer if it appeased others, though he reacted in other ways and caused mischief as some would call it though you could just quite call it that. He felt a bit of relief pass through him now when she released him from the hand cuffs. Of course he wouldn’t run away. That was pure cowardice, and not just that, it was also ignorance. Some called ignorance bliss, but Ryo seemed to find that a bit foolish. He knew that if he were to get into trouble, he would suffer the wrath of others, it wasn’t like he was not used to that type of treatment. It was something he dealt with every waking moment of his life.
He wondered though what exactly she seemed to be thinking; maybe that he was the one to hurt the rabbit, though of course he wasn’t. He tried to be gentler with animals, though he never could quite understand why. It was a good feeling though to be able to help out others, though he would never ever admit that to others. It was very embarrassing to be from a renowned family of demons that caused a lot of chaos and to be seen helping someone, to be seen assisting others with things that seemed to be a bit foolish. He never minded doing those things though. It was only bad for him though when others seemed to question his motives to being good or evil.
He stared at Ayume after hearing her comment. He couldn’t blame her. It was fair enough to just judge him like that. Others seemed to do that to him, so why not have another person judge him like that. It was true. Demons of Darkness hated the sunlight, though he seemed to prefer it. He didn’t quite understand why. He never could realize that fact, but he did know that he was always ridiculed for liking the sunlight even as a child. He remembered being called a defective child by his mother and father. How many children wouldn’t be scarred from hearing something that horrible directed at them as a kid. It had scarred Ryo to this very day, and he always seemed to think now that there was some sort of problem with him. “Believe as you wish,” he stated after a moment. “You’re just as bad as the rest of them, grouping me with the rest. . . I don’t want that bias. . .” he murmured after a brief moment as he let his eyes shut for a second. He had to stop himself from crying. How embarrassing would it be for a demon to cry in front of an angel. “You wouldn’t understand my situation at all. . . to be called a defective child by your own parents, to still be expected to be bad when you long to do something else, when you long to be kind to others,” he bit his bottom lip slightly. Of course he had ranted, though maybe that was enough ranting for now. He wasn’t even sure that she cared at all.
He listed to her tell him to go back to his dorms. He really didn’t feel like listening just yet. He hated to be trapped in the Night Dorms during the daylight hours. It always seemed to bother him. He did well in both light and darkness, but he preferred the light. He let himself take a few more breaths before answering Ayume’s comment about healing the rabbit. “It needed serious attention or it would have died,” he replied with a slight sigh. Sometimes he wondered how exactly he seemed to know some of these things. He always seemed to know how to cure an animal or sometimes how badly they were hurt and their current life span with the injury. He felt weird about it. “I couldn’t have just left it there to die, and I’m sorry if you felt like I was taking over your job, as you can see I am defective, I can’t even play the role of the dark demon correctly as my parents put it. Heck, I sit out in the sunlight when my parents can’t stand it, it’s hard though for others to accept me, but this is me, Ryo Cross,” he sighed looking a bit crestfallen. “Go ahead and laugh, I already know that people dislike me for being what I am, so what’s one more?”
He felt a bit miserable to be classified with everyone else. He stared at Ayume for a moment and shook his head. “No, it’s not quite like that,” he murmured. “Not everyone Is heartless, well at least I’m not,” he mumbled a little bit. He bit his bottom lip now, his light blue gaze meeting hers. “I really don’t know if I want to go back into that hell spawn place, the Night Dorm. . . the place full of darkness and no light really, that’s the reason why I come out here, I want to get away from that every once in a while though it seems to be everyday I need to come out here.” He averted his gaze from hers so that they focused gently on the rabbit. He was telling the honest truth, something he usually wasn’t good at, well at least in the night dorms, but who knew that he could be so honest now. He smiled a little at her. “Like I said, believe what you want.”

Don't cha wish your girlfriend was raw, like me? Don't cha wish your girlfriend was fun, like me? Don't Cha?
------------------------------------------ "Ran talking.""other characters talking."
Perfect Duty is to Hell as Water is to Wet. Last night's math lesson still lingered in her head as she walked around the grassy grounds of the school. She preferred to stay more on the land of the school than search the actual building itself. If the red head had to be in the building, then she would pass windows. If she passed windows, people would stare. The Perfect Duty wasn't a nice one. It made you so tired with all the work that you just learn to live with it; which is a horrible thing for your health. You had to stay up the whole twenty-four hours either in school or checking for rebels. Ran Fuji has fallen asleep during both.
Yes, Miss Ran, known around the school for various things. Such as the fact that she'll hold a gun to anyone's temple without giving a damn. Of course, that was on the outside. truly she would never pull that trigger to anyone's head. Unless their crime was the most sinful raging thing you could imagine. Oh God, listen to her now! Thinking like an Angel again. Well, she couldn't help it. She was a half breed. This genetic was shown to the public in the most embarrassing way; one of her midnight black wings faded at the end into pure snow white feathers. Yuck, this was another thing she was known for since half breeds are new and totally rare. Although, luckily, she wasn't the only one in the school. Her half sister Ayume was one too, although her embarrassment was at such a great level that she uses magic twenty-four-seven to cover up her black wings. Ran believed that her sister fully convinced herself to believe she was all Angel.
Right now was a lazy day; There was no action or anything! The red head couldn't even find Yukio anywhere on the grounds. If he's sleeping right now I'm gonna.... her threatening thoughts were interrupted by the loud fluttering of birds flying past her head. Their speed was at an odd high so that they all created a wind that blew Ran's long bright red hair into the breeze. "Ugh..." she complained, summing up that there was more than just her presence in the area, before walking ahead to the way that they many colorful birds flew away from with her gun loaded on her belt and her red locks back to normal. Fuji made her wing's larger, just in case, to an average size instead of super small like she had them. One fully midnight black like the abyss, and the tip of the other a shimmering snow capped white.
Her footsteps raced now, alert with the sign that there was another presence here, as she zig-zagged through the trees silently. Damn, she was deadly. Her golden eyes swinted as she stopped on a dime behind a tree, just listening to the female voice in the opening. The sweetest more caring voice ever, and possibly the most reconisable to Ran. Although the voice was recognizable, the comment hit like a razor to Ran's heart. "And here i thought all night classes were just heartless jerks!" The blond broke up into a giggle as the unseen red head clenched her fist. Bitch...
Why the heck would she say that?! The night class was just another group of creatures that just preferred the dark to sunlight! They were not bad in any sense of the word. Seriously, Day class students were just as morally wrong in their actions. Everyone from that stupid day class was just retarded. With all their thoughts of how Ran and her classmates were some kind of evil, Just because they liked the dark!!! The younger sister seriously had the mind to go over there and sucker punch her sister right in the cheek, but then the student she was dealing with at the moment spoke up. Causing Ran to listen.
“I really don’t know if I want to go back into that hell spawn place, the Night Dorm. . . the place full of darkness and no light really, that’s the reason why I come out here, I want to get away from that every once in a while though it seems to be everyday I need to come out here.” Her golden eyes just rolled. Great, more drama. The girl now stepped out from her hidden spot to lean on the tree, facing the two blonds. Looking over the guy, Ran recognized him; Ryo Cross. Hm, pretty cute. But that didn't distract her as she was clearly enraged, but her voice seemed bored and uncaring. "You don't have to go back to your dorms, but you need to get off the campus. As long as you come to classes during the night, and stay away from them during the day, we don't really care what you're up to." Many night students went out during the day, since vampires don't get much sleep and it's hard with the change in hours; they go to the mall or the beach. They didn't need to stay in their dorms. As long as there was no trouble for the school in their actions.
Ran inspected her nails for a second, bored, before looking up to her stupid half sister that she was totally pissed at right now. There was a hard stare in her eyes, but she looked away before spitting "Ayume should be getting back to class." There was more work to be done for all of them. Fuji took her gun out of her pocket and clicked it to safety before putting it back in on the other side; this was just a hit of warning for those around her; that she had a gun. The chilly air filled the area with a burst of wind coming from the trees. "Do you need an escort, Mr.Cross?"
