She dragged her feet along the darkened hallways, the only light being the dim candles on the surrounding walls. The large windows, however, let the light of the full moon come in as well. A wondrous evening for the creatures of the night. And yet they were confined to the classes of the academy. She stopped at one of the windows and looked out, not to anything in particular. She fingered the velvet drapes with her slender appendages. The feeling was a rather odd one and yet many seemed to enjoy it. She was one of those people. Her left arm went limp back to her side. She turned away from the panel and continued on her stroll.
Her eyes were half-lidded, her mind not quite with her at the moment. Her arms hung loosely next to her on either side of her body, moving back and forward ever so slightly. She held her red, sleeveless v-neck sweater in her right hand, but did not let it hit the floor. Her feet moved gracefully, the right stepping forward and the left following. Her school mandated shoes clanked on the tile floor as she walked. Her skirt swayed with her legs, the thing reaching about mid-thigh. It was rather short but the black leggings she wore reached above her knees. So only a small portion of her skin was visible. She didn’t give much thought about the uniforms here at the academy. It could be seen that she didn’t really even care too much about what her appearance. Her white blouse was not tucked in to her skirt; her black tie was loose around her neck, and her sweater in her hand rather than on her body. She wasn’t one for fashion.
Her long, pink hair bounced behind her as she walked. Her golden clips were on her head keeping her hair tamed as always. That was something she took pride in. Since the time she was taken to the treatment center in hell, the doctors had complimented her hair color and its tremendous length. Thank goodness the scientists who kidnapped her weren’t able to turn her hair fully blond. So since she looked so highly upon her doctors, and they loved her hair, she took extra care of it. So it was kept perfectly combed each day and she never dared to cut it. She placed a stray pick strand behind her ear as she continued.
Why did the doctors force her to come here? She wanted to be at the treatment center with them. She never felt happy at school, unless with her other two companions. But that was only at breaks since they didn’t have the same classes as her. She felt so alone in class, sitting off to the side, looking at the window or resting her head on her desk. She would get small pains in her temple when she became truly bored of classes, gripping her head as she tried to stop the pain before it worsened and she needed those damn drugs. She hated when that happened. It always led to horrible things and more pain, physically and emotionally. So she was trying to teach herself to take control of herself. Needless to say, it wasn’t working to well.
And if you were curious, yes, the girl was supposed to be in class. But she had decided to skip. She could tell there wasn’t going to be anything important in her next period so there was no use in going. Instead she wanted to find her companions and coax them into leaving school as well. She had racked her brain before she started to remember what class they were in right about now. She had successfully remembered and began her journey across the upper level of the building. It was a good thing she thought before she left since her mind right now was of no use.
The classroom was approaching. Her eyes slowly moved to the number posted on the door. It was the right one. She lazily approached the door. She stopped right in front of it. She stretched her neck up just a little so she could look through the small window in the door. Her purple eyes, with a small amount of red, scanned the room. The students were talking amongst themselves, most likely doing a group project. She continued to look before she found the familiar two. They seemed to be working in a group without much problem. Although their faces didn’t show it completely, she could tell they were enjoying themselves.
Her neck relaxed. She looked at the metal door before turning away from it. Her feet began to move again as they took her away from the classroom. The two seemed to be adapting better than her to school life and interacting with other people. Why did she still have a problem with being around people and staying in class? Was she different than the other two? She did receive more treatment than them. Was that why she could be like them? She frowned a little but it quickly went away. She could never be angry or jealous of her companions. They meant so much to her.
Soon enough she came across a staircase. Her left hand held the railing as she moved down each step. Her eyes watched her feet. What could she possibly do now? Maybe she could just go back to her dorms and use the hole in her floor to return to hell for a bit. That was how her companions and she could return to the center in hell and attend the academy. A portal was put in the floor of each of their rooms. It sucked whoever stepped on it to the depths of hell. Very convenient for the three. She used it a lot of the time.
She made it took the bottom of the stairs. She looked around and began to walk down one of the two halls available to her. She stopped as she heard a rustling in the room to the right of her. She turned her head and moved closer to the door. Curious, she placed her ear to the door and listened. The rustling was coming from the room. She moved her free hand down to the knob. She gripped the cold thing and slowly twisted it. She moved her head from on the door and took a step back. She opened it just a little and peered inside through the crack between the door and its frame. She left a breeze from inside the room and the moonlight also lit it. She opened the door more to get a better look. Her eyes traveled to a figure that had its back to her. It seemed to be looking through a desk. As she tried to open the door even more, it squeaked.
The noise seemed to startle the thing inside the room. They quickly moved to the window. She followed its movements. Her eyes widened, her pupils dilating as the figure moved into the moonlight. The white color was intense, the things opening wide as the creature was about to take flight. It was an angel, most likely looking for school work they had left and getting in through an open window. It was gone in a second as they flew away leaving the window open. The girl, however, did not take the sighting so lightly.
She slammed the door shut and slowly back away from the door, the red in her eyes almost glowing. You see, the demon hated angels with all her heart. They were the cause of her current state. She had even once killed an angel. And since she was already feeling depressed, the sighting was not good at all. Her head began to throb. She closed her eyes and grinded her teeth, her free hand moving to her head as she held it tightly. She crotched down low as the pain was small but growing fast. She had to get back to the center in hell.
The demon girl stood up as she opened her eyes. They were hazy but she tried to clear them. She began to run down the hall, groaning in pain as he held her head tighter. Her eyes were still fogging as one of her episodes seemed to be coming on. Why did she have to look into that room? She should have just kept walking and returned to class.
She had closed her eyes for a second, but that was all the time needed. The staircase was there and visible but not to her. She gasped in shock as she tripped down the first step, flying over the rest of the stairs and hitting the floor below. She rolled a few times before coming to a stop on her belly. Her body was bound to be bruised. She held her head with both hands now as the pain was becoming too much for her, both from her oncoming episode and from hitting her head as she fell hard to the ground. She moved her battered knees so that she was supported by them but her head was still making contact with the cold floor. She groaned louder this time. A tear came to her eye as her whole body began to shake. It rolled down her cheek and hit the floor. More tears were now coming from her eyes. “Why?!?! PLEASE NO!!!” Junko Cho yelled to herself in pain.

Why did tonight have to be on of those night where his duty as a perfect had to be annoying. The sliver hair vampire though to himself as he left the front office. Yes Yukio was in a really annoyed mood since had to break up a fight and take the two student involved in the fight to the front office. So now he was late for his favorite class art and he been looking forward art class all night since he been working on a knew painting he was really excited about. Why did being a perfect have to be such a drag sometimes. Still even with been such an annoyance he still did the job anyway.
Yukio knew that one reason he did not quite was because of Ran. Yes she was the one he did perfect duty with during the hours when the day class was in class. Yukio did enjoy those hours of walking the school with Ran making sure no one was causing trouble. In fact he enjoy every minute he spend with Ran since well he was in love with her. Of course he had not told her his felling for her. No he just could not bring himself to tell her his felling. There time he just wished he could tell the red head his felling. Yet something was always stopping him form telling her his fellings for her.
Maybe it was the fact that he was scared she would would reject his fellings. Yes he knew that was way he could not tell her his fellings for her. Still just wished he could have more courage to just tell her. Yukio knew though that a lot people though would have the same felling he did about being reject. Yes he knew that if Ran reject his fellings it would just hurt him a lot. Yukio knew that some people though he was just not very emotional when in fact he just did not like people to see him showing emotions. Emotions just made things complicated and people would always judge on how act with emotions. Trying to shake these thoughts from his his mind as he made his way down the hall he deiced to foucs onthing else.
Like art class yes now that the whole mess with dealing with that fight was over he could be excited about art class. Art was his favorite since he did enjoy drawing and painting a lot. His mother had been then one who had got him started into art. She had been such a wounder person in his life. Which was way he missed her everyday. Yukio had loved being with her since she just made him fell happy and safe. That was the same felling he got when he was with Ran. The red head just made him fell that same happiness that he though he would not fell again. Thinking about his mother made him remember that it would soon be the anniversary of her death soon.
Yes when every it got close to that time he would become well more reclusive from other people and usually he would hide in dorm room missing classes. Yukio would usually just tell his teachers that he had been sick and they seemed to not ask question. Also the Mistress would not be upset at him for missing his duty as a perfect during that time. So maybe he she know his reason for not during his duty during that time. Well she did know about his mother since she seem to know a lot about people. It always made him wounder how she knew so much about peoples past.
As he past by a window he could hear the sound of thunder and then he turn his head to look out the window. It had started to rain and he stopped walking to look out the window. So it was raining just like that night almost 4 years ago. That was the night his mother had die and he could remember it well. His mother had been ill for many weeks. She show no sign of getting better and had not left her side the whole time. Then one night she called him over to her and she started to tell him how much she loved him. Yukio knew by the way she was talking that she was going to die. He had started to cry a bit, yet she told him to not cry. Of course it would not be easy since must peopel would have cry like he did.
She then told him that she loved and then she die right there. Her death had effect him so much. Yes he had so much more sociable and energetic when he was younger. Yet now he was much more quite and was not very open with people. he wished he could go back to being that person he was back then, but knew that he couldn't. No when you experienced something like it changes you and there no why to undo the damage. The only thing to do was move on and just try to forget about. Of course that had not happen since well he had not had anyone to be there for him after his mother death.
His father had change as well as a result of his mother death. Yes his father would always been gone for days leaving him to look after himself. So he had not had anyone to support and help him deal with his mothers death. Yet now there people who could hep deal with, but he just did not ant people to see acting like such weak and pathetic person. Yukio knew that he should have moved on and forgotten about his mothers death, but he just could not move on and forget something like that. His mind just kept thinking about these thoughs as he looked out the window watching the rain.
He did enjoy watching the rain something about it just put his mind ease. Yukio remember how he use to always watch the rain with his mother. She had enjoy rain storms as much as he did and think about a good memory like that made him smile. Then Yukio was brought out of his thoughts when he herd a sound. At first he just though it was the thunder and lighting coming from the thunder storm, but he knew that it wasn't. Something was telling him that he should not go see what the sound was. He was already late for art class and he did not want to miss more of the class. Yet still he knew it was his duty as a perfect to investigate the sound.
So he made up his mind and deiced to go see what it was. Moving way from the window he started to walk down the hall way. He was sure the sound was just a student who was either going to the bathroom or just skipping class. If was a student he would just tell them to hurry back to class. Yukio really did not want to deal with taking another student to the office since he had already had to do that with those two student who had been having a fight. Yes he had not broken up that fight he was sure that things could have gotten a lot worse. Still he had broken it up and everything was alright now. Usually when he did jump in to break up a fight the students would stop fighting. yes people were scared of him and he had an idea of why. It was because he was a vampire a very well strong and powerful one if even he did not think he was.
Turing a corner he herd the sound what sounded like someone falling down the stairs. He made his way to the sitar case and saw someone a girl with pink hair. She was rolling around on the ground like she was a pain. Was she the one who had been causing all the noise that he had herd. Then she had gotten to her knees and her head was still making contact with the floor as he herd her yell out in pain. Noticing a tear fall from her eyes. Something was telling him stay away from that she was dangerous when she was in this state. While another part of him was telling him that he should help her. It was confusing him on what he should, but he knew that he could just leave her there like. So he deiced that even if he should not go near that he would.
Walking towards the girl he move quietly so he would not startle her. Once he made over to her he couched down and gently put his hand on her shoulder. "Hey you alright?" Yukio asked her. Now he just hopped that this girl was alright since seemed like she was in pain. he wounder what was causing her to act like this. Yukio had never seen anyone in pain like this when it seemed she did not look like she was hurt. Still he could help, but get the felling he was in danger with being this close to this girl. Yet he was someone that could not just abound someone who was pain. So now he waited for her to answer him or say something to him. Her body was still crouched down, almost in the fetal position. Why did this have to happen now? It was that damned angel who couldn’t stay in the dorms when they were supposed to. That was what the rules were for. And now look at her, on the floor in pain. Why couldn’t something come along and just end her life. That’s what she thought from time to time, too exhausted from an episode to want to go on. But it was her doctors and companions who brought her back. They would consoler her and try to reason with her. It seemed to work each time. But right now, when she had no strength or support, death seemed like a good option.
The tears just kept coming. She hiccupped as her body shook. Her teeth clenched and her arms tightened around her head. She could see the dark light. The light that would engulf her and she would act in a blind rage. But she tried to stop it, breathing in heavily as she fought against the feeling. A few droplets of blood dripped from her nose. She quickly moved one hand to catch the blood before it fell to the floor. She slowly opened an eye to look at her hand. She cringed at the site of her own blood. She kept her hand to her nose and her eyes shut as she continued to drift further from sanity.
Her body jumped as the thunder roared outside, the lightening illuminating the halls sporadically. The rain trickled against the windows and the roof above her. It must have been a lot of rain to be heard from inside the building. It seemed the weather had changed fast, almost to go along with her current emotional state. This was her favorite type of weather, and yet she couldn’t enjoy it. The darkness was growing. Her crow demon could tell when he was needed for assistance in her rampage. But luckily that time hadn’t approached just yet.
It was almost impossible that she could think at a moment like this, but she was able to for a second. She remembered that she always brought a syringe with the chemicals she needed for a time like this with her to school. She kept it in her bag for a week in case she needed it and gave it back to her doctors when not used. Now all she needed to do was get to her bag. What where had she left it? It wasn’t with her when she started her walk through the halls. That’s right. She left it near her classroom in the hall, hidden behind a drape. But that was upstairs and far down the hall. Could she make it? Well she would have to try to save herself.
She yelled in shock as a hand touched her shoulder. Her head turned around as her eyes opened. Her pupils were smaller than normal now, the red that once was just around it now growing and a exceedingly slow rate, expanding over her whole iris. The fast motion made her go dizzy, her eyes rolling back a little as she tried to steady her vision. She blinked a few times as she looked at the owner of the hand. She still covered her nose and held her head as she focused. It was a male. She wasn’t sure what type of creature he was just yet since her senses weren’t too keen. But she could see his appearance. He had grey hair and purple eyes. She wasn’t sure if she should trust him or not. But he was at the school at night so he was a fellow student.
“Ahhh!” She yelled as a surge of pain hit her. There was no time to decide if he was good or bad. It was just a plus that he wasn’t an angel. She closed her eyes as she tried to breathe. Sweat was on her forehead, plastering a few strands of pink hair to it. She must have looked like a mess. But she didn’t care. She opened her eyes once more and looked at the male with pained eye. She would try to speak softly as not to scare off the boy. And trying to stay calm would keep her from hurting him.
So she slowly moved her hand that was holding her head to the boy’s wrist. It was the wrist that was attached to the hand on her shoulder. She looked him directly in the eye as she spoke. She would never be so direct to anyone but now she had to be. She just needed to stay sane to speak with him, the darkness still clouding her mind.
“Please! Can you…bring me my bag! It’s behind the…drapes of the window near class…2-D! I’m begging you!” She pleaded as she clutched his wrist harder. That was the most she had ever said to another student. Well now was the best time to use her voice. She saw what she was doing to his wrist and quickly let go. “I’m sorry. But please help!” She had also never wanted to show anyone her vulnerable side but she had to ask for help. Because what would come next would be her demon side. And she never wanted to kill again.
Junko Cho crotched down again as her head hurt more than ever, losing eye contact with the boy. She held her head once more and kept her palm over her nose, more blood dripping out. She let the boy do as he wanted. She guessed he wither could have helped her or left her there to let the darkness take over.

Yukio herd the girl yell when his hand had touched her and seem to not hear him when he asked her if she was alright. Then he saw he look up at him. His violate orbs looked at her eyes to notice her pupils were small. She must of had a hard time focusing her eye sight to make him out. What every was causing her pain must have been effecting her vision if her pupils were delighted like they were. Yukio had not idea what do for her if she did not talk to him. Noticing her hand holding her nose he could see blood dripping between her fingers to the floor. From the sent of her blood he know that this girl was a demon. Being a vampire he had a heighten sense of small and usually was able to tell what type of creature someone was from the sent of there blood.
Yukio herd her yell in pains as he felt her body move under his hand. Now he was really starting to panic since, but he did not show it on the outside. No he still had normal clam outside still he knew had to do something for this girl. He could not just let her continue to be in pain like. Maybe he should have taken her to the nurse that did seem like the best idea to him. Yes maybe she would be able to help this girl out. Then Yukio felt this girl grab the wrist of the hand that was on her shoulder. Her grip was rather tight on his wrist, but it really was not hurting him at all. Her eyes looked at him as she spoke to him to him.
She asked for his help and asked him to bring her bag. Looking around he did not see her school bag any where. The girl told it was behind the curtains of the window near class room 2-D. Yukio knew where that was it was not to far from where they were now. She then let go of his wrist saying sorry to him, but still asking for his his help. It was alright he was fine she had not hurt his wrist it would take a lot more for him to ever fell hurt than just having his wrist squeezed tight. "Yeah alright I will get just stay here." Yukio said as he took his hand off her shoulder and stood up again.
Turing to the right he walked past the girl and back down the stairs. Making a left he walked down the hallway looking at the numbers of the class rooms as he did. Yes he did not want to miss the class room. Seeing 2-D he walked a bit past it to the window near it and he open the curtains and found the girls bag. Sling it on the opposite shoulder that his own school bag was on. Now moving as fast as he could he walked back up the stairs and found the girl in the same stop he had left her. She still seemed to be in a lot of pain. Yukio figure out the reason why she would would have want him to get her bag for her.
There must have been something in it to help stop her pain. Seeing as she was pain he deiced to start looking inside her bag. Couching down again he took her bag from his shoulder. Opening it he start to search thought it. Inside were her school books some papers and other junk that just seem to be shoved in the bag. As his hand searched around he felt something and pulled it out. It was a pill bottle. Was this what this girl need to stop the pain she was in. Yukio hope so he hated to see someone in so much pain like this girl was right now. Turing the pill bottle he could Make out the name on it. 'Junko Cho'. So was this this girls name it was an unusual name. Then again his own name was strange as well yes his first name Yukio meant happy man and well Yukio felt that his name really did not fit him.
Maybe it did when he was younger, but now he knew he was an overly happy person. Shaking those thoughts from his head right now he had to help Junko. Open the pill bottle he took out to pills like it said on the pill bottle. Holding the pills in hand he care nor to crush them. Using his other hand he turn Junko over gently so she was on her back. "Here I need you to be able to shallow your pills." he said as he put the pills into the girls mouth. Watching her he waited to see if she had swallowed the pills and would be alright. Still he could leave her lying there on the floor no he had to take her some where she could lie down. The only place he knew was the infirmary. Picking up the girls school bag he put over his shoulder again and then he gently picked the girl up.
Carrying her in his arms he started to walk up the stairs back up stairs where the girl had fallen from. Now back on the higher floor hr turn left walling down the hallway. Making it all the way to the end of the hallway. Opening the door to the infirmary looking around he did not see the nurse any where. Taking the girl over to an open bed he gently laid her down on the bed. Sitting down in chair Yukio was quite. he knew he had already missed at least half his art class now. Even though he really wanted to leave he could not just abound this girl. No he would stay with her till he was sure she was going to be alright.

She could only hear the faint sound of his deep voice. Well her hearing was actually coming in and out. One second, it was as if she was deaf and the next the rain hitting the school building could have been deafening. Luckily the boy spoke when her hearing wasn’t too good. Or her eyes might have literally started bleeding when he addressed her. But she did hear him say that he would get her bag and ordered her to stay in her current spot. She simply nodded her head slowly as her actions caused her more pain.
It was a horrible pain she felt whenever like this. Her condition actually caused her to come close to death. She would be on the brink of dying when her demon powers actually kick in. Then her crow would swoop down, take her in its massive arms, and swallow her whole. In its stomach was where she would be taken over. The insides of the huge crow would engulf her body, creating a suite-like attire. She would be protected inside the crow and her demonic side would keep her alive. Her killer instincts would come out and the rest is too gruesome to even think about.
But this had only happened once in the girl’s life. The time she had killed an angel. And it was her companions who had gotten through to the girl and brought her back to reality. The crow had spit her back up unharmed. She spent a month in a state of sleep. During that time the doctors injected her with the chemicals that helped her regain her life back. Her demonic side lessened and allowed her to think clearly once again. She woke up after the month her normal self. But she had full knowledge of what had happened and what she had done. She did not like what she had to go through but did not regret it.
Her vision was leaving her fast. The boy’s outline was blurring. She felt his hand leave her shoulder and could tell he stood up from the blurry figure expanding. She closed her eyes again, the dim light of the hallway even becoming too much for her to handle. She could somewhat hear the boy’s retreating footsteps. She crotched low again, her head in her lap. She moved both her hands to cover her nose, the blood still coming slowly. Her head throbbed as she hiccupped. She was no longer sobbing though tears still fell from her eyes. The darkness was coming and the girl had only the smallest hope that the male would come back just in time.
She felt the vibrations of the ground as the boy’s footsteps were rather fast. Her strength was weakening as well so she couldn’t move to look at him as he approached her. But as he was next to her, he didn’t give her bag. She was confused and strained her body to open her eyes once more. The boy was crouched down next to her. She could hear him moving. Was he looking in her bag for her? But he didn’t know what he was looking for. Unless he did find her shot and put two and two together. Maybe she would be okay after all. But she doubted the boy would know what to do or where the shot went. So once he found it, she would take it from there.
It seemed he had found something. Junko Cho let him move her body. She hissed in pain as he did so, the movements too much for her fragile, weakened frame to take. She was turned over, her back against the cold floor. Her hands still covered her nose as her lids were half-way closed. "Here I need you to be able to shallow your pills." She slowly moved her hands from her nose and mouth. She was confused. Hadn’t he found her syringe? She parted her lips just the slightest bit. She felt the pills fall into her mouth. Oh, he had found her pills that helped her. But recently they never fully got rid of her episodes, only suppressed them for a few minutes. But she was grateful none the less. She swallowed the pills although it was a little hard to do with a dry mouth and no water. Now she could just inject herself.
But she couldn’t do that. She felt her body being lifted from the ground and into the air. She frantically looked around and up at the boy’s face. “Wha!!” But she wasn’t able to finish her question, the quick movements of her head causing another dizzy spell to hit her full blown. She went somewhat limp in his arms, her pain stricken head resting against his chest. She moved her arms stay in front of her chest so she wouldn’t get blood on anything or the boy. The pills did work but her head was still in pain. Her nose had stopped its bleeding thankfully. But it only meant the near death experience was approaching.
So she just let the boy take her wherever he wanted. Though she wished she knew where they were going. She closed her eyes once again. She heard the sound of a door opening and just when her hearing was heightened. She yelled in pain as the door closed behind him. But she returned to a somewhat normal state a second later. The girl frowned as she was placed on something soft. If she guessed correctly, she was on a bed in the infirmary. This was her one chance to get her syringe and inject herself before it was too late.
So she opened her eyes as wide as she could and tried to focus. She saw the boy sitting next to the bed. She saw her bag on his shoulder. She reached with a bloody hand and grabbed it off him. She opened her bag and rummaged through it, getting some spots of blood on her things. She finally found the needle. She took the cape off of it. She grabbed her gold necklace and yanked it off her neck. It exposed the whole with the device over it that was in her neck. She jammed the needle into the whole and pushed down on the top of the needle, the chemicals flowing into her blood stream. She fell back onto the bed with a thud. She took the needle out but kept it in her hand. She rested on the bed as she closed her eyes, breathing a sigh of relief.

Yukio sat quite next to the bed not really know what to do now. He had brought her here and she the attack had stop. Yet he still got the felling this was not over. To him seem the pill had just suppressed what ever was happening to her. Maybe ther was something in her bag that would help her, but before he could he saw a bloody hand reach out and take her bag from his should. Looking he saw it was her that had taken her bag from his shoulder. Was she alright now and then she removed the gold choker necklace from her neck. Seeing a syringe in her hand he watched as she inject her self with it. Then she laid back on the bed and now it seem she was fine now.
Yet still he wounder what had caused her pain like and what was with her having the syringe in her bag. it was strange since that seemed like something a student should not have bag. There was differentially something about this girl that a bit well off to him. Still he guessed he should ask her what had happen. Yukio need to know since well he never seen anyone in pain like she was. Was it some kind illness or nothing. No it did not seem like that to no it seemed more like something she might have seen caused that pain to her. That seemed a bit crazy to him think something like. Still it seemed like the only logic explanation to him.
It not see like she was hurt or anything or even sick she seemed like she was in good health. Or least he though she was in good health he could been. Now he was wondering why he was concerning himself with this girl. Yukio knew the reason yes even if he was the loner time he could not just leave someone who was hurt just lying there in pain. No he would help them even if he did not know how. Smiling he knew the reason he was like it was how his mother had been with people. Yes she had always been very kind and nice to other people. It was something she had past on to him besides his talent for art.
Yukio knew that he never really show concern for other people except for well maybe Ran. The red head was the only person he ever show any worry about. That was because well he had strong felling for Ran something he had not told her. Shaking those though from his head for now he need to focus on this girl for now. His priority should have been making sure she was alright now. Yes it was his job as a perfect of this school to look out for other students to make sure they were alright. Noticing now that she seem to resting back on the bed with he eyes closed. Was she asleep now and no she did not seem to be. Still he was not sure where to start with his question he had for. Yes there was a lot that she need to explain to him about. Like how she had end up at the bottom of the stairs like that in so much pain.
Maybe also why she had those pills and the syringe in her bag. "Umm so well it seems like your alright, but what caused you to be in pain like that?" Yukio asked her. That seemed like a good place for him to start. Yes that seemed like a smile question for her to answer. Yukio knew that he should have just left her now and gone to class. yet he felt that would just mean to leave her her alone and beside he did have question for her. Still he was hatting having to miss art class right now since it was his favorite class after all. As he was still waiting for her to answer him he reached into his school bag and took out his sketch. He deiced that he could use this time to work on a drawing. Flipping to a blank page he took out a drawing pencil and start to draw something. Now he sat there drawing waiting for her to answer the question he had asked her. word count:724 tag: Junko and open comment: Hope you like it

She stirred on the flat, uncomfortable cushion they called the infirmary bed. Her breathing was becoming steady once more. Although she was begging to feel the pain of the bruises she had received from falling down the staircase. It stung. She felt the pain on her lower abdomen. As well as on her arms and legs. She couldn’t remember the last time she had been hurt so badly. Ever since she lived at the center, the doctors had cared for her so stupendously. She had never been badly injured, aside from a few scratches and cuts normal youngsters get.
Her hand tightened around the syringe once again as she was coming to. The few minutes of rest did wonders for the girl. Not to mention the drugs she had injected herself with. It didn’t hurt her when she stabbed the needle into her throat. For any other person, it would have hurt. But the young demon was used to the feeling and so, unaffected by it. Her grip lightened once more as she slowly began to come to. Her eyes opened just the slightest bit, small slits. All she could see what a burry, darkened wall. She was facing away from the boy. That’s right. She had forgotten the boy was even in the room with her frail self.
She slowly, almost vampire like rose from the lying position on the bed. Her pink hair moved across the bed to hang limp again her back. Her head hung low as she looked at the bed beneath her, her eyes still slits. Her legs were bent on either sides of her form, coming into a sitting position on her bum. Her palms were down on the bed, the syringe underneath one delicate hand. They just rested there for a moment as the girl was still not up to moving just yet. She inhaled and then exhaled deeply. Her eyes opened up just a bit more. She turned her head slowly toward the wall. She noticed her bloody hand but knew it was her own blood. She turned to her school blouse, more blood. She did hate when she got such severe nose bleeds.
She craned her head to her other palm. The syringe needle glistened from the dim light of the room. It too held traces for her precious blood on the tip. Her eye twitched from the sight. She also hated her treatment. The golden chocker was also just a few inches from her hand. She moved the hand that pressed down on the needle. She grabbed the necklace she had received from the beloved doctors. It was already unlatched. She moved it toward her neck. She used her other hand to move her hair over her shoulder. Her neck and the hole were once again exposed. She placed the cold gold on her neck and closed it with a click.
Her eyes moved to the boy sitting next to the bed just as he asked her his question. She was lethargic. Her lips were slightly open, her lips glossy. She moved her head as her hair fell back down. She turned her head to face him, but not her body. She slowly nodded her head. She was okay, but not completely well. He had asked her why she was in such pain. She knew that question would come sooner or later. She debated whether or not to answer him. But first she watched him with slight curiosity go into his school bag and take out a sketch pad. He began to scribble on a piece of paper. She turned away from him and concentrated on a spot on the bed.
Her lips parted as she began to talk in a lower voice, much different from her yelling. Yet her voice was still its melodious nature. “It’s complicated. I’m a very horrible and disgusting creature. I’m cursed to forever be sick and take such drugs.” She said with a pained look as she gestured toward the shot. The girl had no self confidence and low self esteem. It was all she could think of to say. Her whole life story was much too long and agonizing to tell. So she settled with the words that came forth.
Her eyes moved toward him once again. “Thank you.” She almost whispered. She had only said those two words to her companions and her doctors. No one else. Then her curiosity finally got the better of her. “Why did you help me?” She asked as her eyes narrowed just a bit. The girl was never shown kindness at the academy and thanks to her hard past, she thought the worst of people and situations.

Yukio was still focused on his drawing as he waited for the girl to replay to his question. Looking up from his drawing he watched as she reached out to grab he golden choker necklace. Watching he saw her put back around her neck and herd it click close. He could still see that she was holding the syringe in her hand that she use to inject her self with what ever had stop the attack she was having. At least she seemed better now, but he still knew it was not right to leave her by herself even though he really wanted to get to class since he was missing his favorite class. Yukio noticed that she was looking at him now.
Hearing speak to him answering the question he had asked her. She told him that it was complicated and that she was digesting creature. Also that she was cursed to to be sick and take such drugs as he noticed look at the syringe in her hand. Yukio had say he could understand how that felt since he was vampire and well he cursed to have to live of feed off the blood of others. So if anything he was much worse than her when came to being a digesting creature. At least what every she had seem to be controllable he could not control his urge for blood. No that was something he would have to live with for the rest of his life feeding on blood just live.
Then he herd the girl thank him and he smiled a little. She really did not need to thank him since it had been trouble at all for him to help her. No it was sort of his job as a perfect to help other students and he could have just left her there on the floor. Most would have done nothing to help her and left her. Yet even if had not been a perfect he still would have helped her since he could stand to see someone in pain. It made think of his mother who had died of illness and he had watched her be in pain. Shaking that though from his head he did not want to think about that it was to painful to think about that. He knew he should have stop thinking about his mother death, but it was hard for him to forget something like.
Yukio herd her ask him why he had helped and that snapped out his thoughts. "Oh well I guessed I helped you since I could not just leave you there in pain on the floor." Yukio said to her. Yes that was true that had been his reason for helping her since he was sure that if had left her there and not help something bad might have happen. Turing his attention back to his drawing he started to draw again he was working on his drawing again. What he had started drawing was a castle that he was thinking above the castle he would draw a dragon flying above it something. As he drew he still could not get what she had said about her self being a digesting creature. "And your not that digesting of creature at least you don't have to live off feeding off the blood others." he said with sighs.
Yes he was sure by saying that she would figure out that he was vampire since he already knew she was a demon since he could tell by the sent of her blood. Maybe by saying that it would cheer her up a bit since he could tell she felt a bit down about what had happen. Still at least she seemed to be fine now and some rest would be good for her. He kept the drawing in his left moving across the paper as he worked on his drawing. Well even with having to mess art class he was able to use this time staying her working on a new drawing. Yukio knew he would not get into to much trouble for missing a class he guess that was the luck of being a perfect. Still there were time that the job was annoying. "Oh and I am Yukio Yamagata." Yukio said to her introducing himself to her. As he waited for her to introduce herself he kept working on his drawing.

She sat on the infirmary bed and listened to the boy’s answer. Her eye lids were still heavy. She looked at the boy with interest. He seemed odd to her. She couldn’t tell why though. He was just different. Maybe it was because he was the only other person she had actually had a conversation with, aside from her companions of course. Why did he want to talk to her? He could have just helped her to the nurse’s office and then left. He said he couldn’t just leave her on the floor. She didn’t think she could do that for anyone else. There was no reason for him to stay next to her. He probably had much better things to do than stick around. She would have to make sure to tell him that. The girl was much calmer around night creatures so she would be able to talk.
“Well you didn’t have to. But I’m glad you did. I didn’t want to do something I would regret.” She told him, the last part more of a whisper. She hated herself for taking a life in her younger days. It was out of her control. Her inner demon came out and caused her to do such a crime. She never thought she could forgive herself then. But it was her doctors that told her otherwise. They brought her back to a normal state, if you could call the girl’s warped mind normal. No, that word was not used to describe the pink haired girl. And it never would be.
She wondered what he was so feverishly working on. His hand moved back and forward on the pad. She was tempted to ask him but decided against it. The sooner their conversations ended, the sooner she could leave the school and go home to the center. Usually after an incident like this she had to be checked on by her doctors. And she could care less about school. It was useless to come every day and do nothing different. Junko Cho just wasn’t accomplishing what the doctors wanted her to do. At least right now she wasn’t.
She looked around to find her bag on the bed next to her. She would grab it and head out. She first put the syringe in the bag slowly. She didn’t move too much since she was still a little sore and bruised. The doctors wouldn’t be happy about that. She closed her bag slowly. Luckily she couldn’t get any more blood on her things since it was all dried by now. That was another thing the doctors would be upset about. They hated getting blood out of her uniforms. But she would happily help them if they needed it. She was quite the bubbly one when she was at her “home”. She loved it there and if she had her way, wouldn’t want to leave. But the doctors told her to and she always obeyed them.
Her attention was brought back to her current situation when the boy spoke again. She was shocked. He didn’t think she was disgusting? Especially after seeing her in such a condition? Why would he say such a thing? But then she heard the rest of what he said. He had to live off others blood? Then it came to her. So he was a vampire it seemed. Only vampires had to do such a thing. She actually related to vampires more than any other night creature being a demon. They just seemed so much alike in her mind. She looked up at him.
“It seems we have more in common than we first thought.” She whispered looking down on the bed again. That was too out of line in her mind. They probably had nothing in common and she was making a fool of herself. She decided now was the best time to leave. She moved to the edge of the bed and draped her feet over the side. But he spoke once again. This time he told her his name. Yukio Yamagata it was. And interesting name it was. She looked at him but knew she still had to get back to the center. She stood and walked forward. She placed a hand on his shoulder.
“Junko Cho. And thank you again.” She said in a low voice before running out of the nurse’s office.
