Power, the fuel behind all of the corruption and chaos within the world today. The ability to command any and everything however you see fit, truly the greatest flaw in man today. And no one shows such a flaw as great as the Holy Empire of Britannia. In August 10, 2010 a.t.b., the Holy Empire of Britannia overpowered Japanese forces and conquered the country with their newly-developed robotic weapons, the Knightmare Frames, in less than a month. Japan lost its freedom, its rights, and even its name, becoming "Area 11" and its people "Elevens". The Elevens were forced to survive in ghettos while Britannians lived in first-class settlements. Rebel elements persisted, however, as pockets of Japanese resistance struggled against the Empire for the independence of Japan.
And the cause of this whole ordeal, the hunger and greed of the emperor, Tylus Vi Britannia. Truly no worse man lived during the war between both nations, simply assaulting Japan on a whim just because he wanted what they had. He sacrificed many lives and stole many more in order to fulfill this cruel and corrupt dream, and sacrificing the Japanese people's rights in the process, turning them into nothing more than peasants. Britannia kept a mighty knee over the throat of Japan and still does till this day, executing all "Elevens" at will now and completely abolishing all their rights. After many attempts at rebellions went on a false sense of peace fell over both nations as it seemed as though Japan finally "surrendered".
Through this whole time the king seemed to swim in his new prizes gained from the swift and brutal assault. Or so it would seem before the emperor seemed to fall from the public eye. Reports from the royals stated that he was extremely sick and would stay out of the public eye, but the whole ordeal seemed strange considering the great health the emperor showed through his boisterous gloats and multiple appearances at victory rallies throughout the empire. But considering the faith of the Britannian people, they simply put it out of their minds and hoped for the best, which any naive person would do in this situation.
But as of late, a strange ordeal has been stirring. The news of the sickened emperor gave hope and inspiration to the people, the Japanese people, and all of those who felt for Japan and are choosing to ally with them. It would seem as though Japan's hope have been brought back to life, this time with a resolve stronger than ever. They are using every resource and connection they can to set themselves up for their final day of glory, freedom from Britannia.
What are the chances of Japan gaining back its previous stature? What are the Britannians going to do to quail such an uprising? What is truly happening with the Emperor of Britannia and his health status? Only you can decide the outcome of the story.
